Ann-Marie is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health Professionals Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool in 2009 and currently works in the NHS and private practice as an Advanced Level Physiotherapist. Ann-Marie has spent most of her Physiotherapy career specialising in the Musculoskeletal aspect of the profession. Ann-Marie has completed various postgraduate courses to advance her skills in manual therapy, myofascial release, acupuncture as well as her Pilates training with the world-renowned Australian Institute of Physiotherapy (APPI), which has included the Ante Natal Pilates course.

She initially started her Physiotherapy career at Derby Royal Hospital as a junior, rotational physiotherapist where she gained experiencing working on the intensive care unit and surgical wards and worked in a specialist rehabilitation centre for elderly falls and Parkinson’s disease patients. Ann-Marie then decided to specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and since then has gained a vast range of experience working in the NHS up to the level of an Advanced Physiotherapist, as well as working in private practice. She has also obtained a post graduate certification in education with qualified teaching status from Birmingham City University and enjoys transferring these teaching skills into her Physiotherapy Pilates classes. 

 Ann-Marie has a special interest in Athletic Rehabilitation and has worked in a variety of high-level sports. She has worked for Sunderland Premiership Football Academy for two seasons alongside her NHS commitments. In addition, Ann-Marie worked with the GB Womens Basketball team during their campaign preparing for their European Championship campaign in 2019. Later in 2019, she assisted in the pre-season fitness screening of the Newcastle Eagles and was part of the medical team for the GB Mens Basketball team in their national qualifying game against Germany. Ann-Marie was also part of the medical team for GB Judo at the renowned English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

Ann-Marie is a keen sportswoman herself and has enjoyed playing golf for the Northumberland County and Ponteland Golf junior team. She has also played Women’s basketball at university and local league as well as playing football for Newcastle football reserves as a youngster. She also enjoys dancing and playing the drums. Ann-Marie took a career break in her late 20’s to follow her passion to travel the world, and continues to enjoy exploring new places on holidays with her husband but is never too far from her Pilates mat!

Rachael graduated from the university of Northumbria in 2008 before moving back to her home in Northern Ireland to start her career. She just couldn’t stay away from the North East for long though and work eventually brought her back in 2011.

She has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy since 2013 and that same year completed her Pilates training with the Australian institute of Physiotherapy (APPI).

Rachael works part time in the NHS as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, now specialising in hand therapy, and on her days off she spends time with her 2 young boys! They keep her very active and she loves getting time on the Pilates mat to reset and switch off!
